Mon Animal Gourmet operates the online shop www.monanimalgourmet.ch, powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) in force since September 1, 2023, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for customers residing in the European Union.

  • Shopify Inc. (store infrastructure) — data hosted outside Switzerland, governed by standard contractual clauses
  • Our suppliers Animéco and Joy's Food — for the preparation and quality control of products shipped from our own stock in Switzerland
  • Payment providers: Shopify Payments / Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay — each subject to its own privacy terms
  • Carriers responsible for delivering your orders in Switzerland

These providers are contractually required to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes for which it was shared with them.

6. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred and hosted outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States (Shopify). These transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses recognized by the competent Swiss and European authorities.

7. Retention Period

Your data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and at minimum for the legally applicable periods (in particular 10 years for accounting and tax data).
